Isolation

“He who is unable to live in society, or who has no need, because he is sufficient for himself, must either be a beast or a God.” ~ Aristotle.

We all need someone.

We cannot survive in isolation. We need relationships, companionship, interaction; a sense of belonging to a community.

Sometimes, it can be hard to feel connected.

We sometimes need time out, alone for reflection, consideration and to recharge.

We sometimes feel alone in a group. Like no one knows what is really going on inside.

It can be hard to reach out.

Today; make an effort in your day to reach out to someone else.

Say hi, offer a hand, call a relative, pay for someone’s coffee. Email someone and check in. Send a text. Call.

Switch off and listen to your family at dinner.

Reconnect.

We are all a part of something much bigger.

You are not alone.
