Kindness

“Be kind, for everyone you meet is fighting a hard battle.” ~ Plato

Kindness doesn’t really take a lot of effort. When someone is doing it tough, it can really mean a lot.

It’s not hard to soften your tone, consider your response, use old fashioned manners.

Kindness is free.

Consider tone when you talk to the kids this afternoon.

Hug your partner when they come in from work this afternoon.

Did you listen? Really listen?

Listening is often the best what of showing we care.

Smile at strangers. Thank people. Make someone a cuppa. Carry shopping bags for a stranger. Make a child laugh.

What do you have to offer the world today?

An act of kindness always has lasting and ongoing benefits.

Pay it forward. Random acts of kindness.

Are you polite to those who serve you daily? Waiters, check-out operators, the girl in the bakery, the man at the rural supply store?

What’s their story?

Are they fighting a hard battle?

Connect. Listen. Smile. Love.
