Self-Examination

“Don’t complain about the snow on your neighbours roof when your own doorstep is unclean.” ~ Confucius.

Self-examination can be very hard.

It is painful.

It is also extremely helpful.

We are quick to judge others and offer opinions on what they “should” be doing.

We are quick to lay blame.

Having an honest look at self is challenging and confronting.

It is helpful in understand and improving business and personal relationships.

When we recognise that the only person we can change is ourselves and take responsibility and action for these changes we wish to make; when we really understand self, then we can make better decisions. We begin to anticipate problems and act accordingly.

Holding yourself accountable is hard.

Having a positive support network around you and strategy in place ensures good results.
