Self

“No man who is resolved to make the most of himself, can spare time for personal contention. Still less can he afford to take the consequences, including the vitiation of his temper and the loss of self-control. Yield larger to things to which you show no more than equal rights; and yield to lesser ones though clearly your own. Better to give your path to a dog than be bitten by him for contesting the right. Even killing the dog would not cure the bite.” ~ Lincoln.

Don’t spend your precious time on earth worrying about things you have no control over.

Don’t lose sleep over the past.

Don’t waste energy being offended by something you should not take personally.

Let it be. Let it all go.

Be the best that you can be. Focus all your energy and attention on being that best you.

On building the life you want. On what matters most.

You can do this.

We’ve all come so far.

Work on self, focus on self. Watch thoughts, language and habits. Use your energy well.

I tell myself.
