I recently had the pleasure of attending an award ceremony for young Australian’s who had served within our communities.
Inspirational young people who have helped others; given time to those less fortunate.
I was impressed.
We don’t often hear good stories about our young people. We forget to mention how great kids are.
Good news doesn’t sell.
We need to recognise the achievements of young people, applaud and encourage them.
Focus on the great things kids contribute to our world.
Mowing lawns, exercising guide dogs, volunteering at sports, tutoring, blood drives, cake stalls, leadership, door knocks are just some of the stories I heard.
Let’s get behind the great young leaders of tomorrow.
