Levelling

“The reason why rivers and seas receive the homage of a hundred mountain streams, is they keep below them. Thus they are able to reign over all the mountain streams. So the sage, wishing to be above men, putteth himself below them; wishing to be before them, he putteth himself behind them. Thus, though his place be above me, they do not feel his weight; though his place be before them, they do not count it an injury.” ~ Lao-tse Chinese Sage.

We have a tendency to classify people. To believe, often subconsciously that some people are of greater value than others.

Based on race, religion, gender, skin colour, financial status or some thing else.

We are all human.

Human first. All of us.

Remember this system of classification we have invented is simply made up, it only has meaning while we give it meaning.

Peace and love to all.
