Ultimate Responsibility

“I am what I am today because of the choices I made yesterday.” ~ Covey.

It’s a hard one to accept.

We are all ultimately responsible for our lives.

We are where we are because of choices we have made; good and bad.

We create habits that determine our future.

If we are not disciplined we don’t make good choices.

We use excuses; we claim we are too tired, too old, too fat, too busy or not good enough to achieve the things we desire.

We can’t afford it. We don’t have the time.

In all honesty, it’s about priority.

When it’s THAT important, it will become a priority. We make things happen when we need to.

There is no one else to blame. Not your parents, your ex, the government, not your genes, not God. You.

It’s your job to build the life you want.

What choices can you make today to make your tomorrow better?

Eat a banana instead of a pie? Salad instead of cake? Exercise? Take the stairs? Budget? Start a savings plan? Sign up for a course? Read a book? Take a bath? Drink water?

What can you choose today to build a better tomorrow?
