“I have so much to do today, I’ll need to spend another hour on my knees.” ~ Martin Luther.
Slow down. Take some time to calm yourself, gather your thoughts, pray, meditate, walk, do whatever it is you need to do to settle your mind and come back to focus.
We achieve more, are more effective when we are steady, focused. Calm.
When our mind is still and calm we can create flow.
Busy is an excuse. Society has taught us to glorify busy.
Fiddling, twiddling, over stimulation; our world is filled with so many stimuli and so much over thinking.
We need to learn to stop. To just be. To listen to our bodies, our children, the earth, the universe or whatever God or energy you choose.
We can’t hear the messages with so much going on.
Take some time. Stop. Get comfortable with silence. Put your phone down. Turn it on airplane mode. Do whatever it takes. Turn off the television.
Listen. Hear. Be silent.
Bored minds get creative. Great ideas come from the silence.
Take just a moment to stop, settle, be silent, close your eyes and just be still.
